The purpose of the MHSSA is to establish additional mental health partnerships between county mental health or behavioral health departments and local education entities (Partnership).
The MHSSA incentivizes partnerships between behavioral health departments and education entities for the purpose of increasing access to mental health services in locations that are easily accessible to students and their families.
The goal of this solicitation is to hire a Statewide Technical Assistance Coordinator (STAC) that will provide technical assistance and project management support for all MHSSA grantees, including the MHSSA Technical Coaching Teams. The STAC will play a vital role in establishing a strong foundation and long-range vision for statewide school-based mental health capacity building for many years to come. There is $2,000,000 available through one contract.
