The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission is seeking to issue four (4) contracts to experienced Contractors to work with immigrants and refugees. As directed by the Budget Act of 2018, the contracts awarded pursuant to this Request for Proposal (RFP) are to support the advocacy, training and education, and outreach and engagement needs of immigrants and refugees to increase the number of available mental health programs, create awareness of and access to culturally appropriate services and supports, and provide opportunities to increase advocacy at the state and local level on behalf of immigrant and refugee populations in California.
