In January 2023, the Commission began the process of engaging with clients and families, community advocates, state and local policymakers, service providers, and various public and private sector partners to gather feedback that would help shape our strategic planning process for the next four years.
Using the robust results of that engagement as a guide, the Commission has developed the following DRAFT strategic plan to guide our work from January 2024 through 2027.
It is important to be aware that the current DRAFT represents a point-in-time, including feedback resulting from public engagement prior to the introduction of SB 326, which if passed will require additional strategic consideration by the Commission for integration into this plan. This DRAFT plan was presented to the Commission during the November 15 Commission Meeting and remains under their review.
