The Commission partnered with PRO Youth & Families for the second of four “Youth Advocacy Initiative Mental Health Events.”
Over 100 youth from the Commission’s 26 K-12 grantees came together to create networks that leverage their skills to advocate for their own mental health needs at the local and state levels. Grantees provided students with localized resources and educational materials, specific to their region.
Special guests addressed the youth at this event, including Assemblyman Dr. Joaquin Arambula and members of the Fresno County Office of Education.
