The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission’s 2019-20 budget includes $14,589,000 million to support the expansion of integrated youth mental health centers which offer mental health, physical health, vocational support, housing assistance, and educational services for youth age 12-25 and their families.
In order to provide information about this funding opportunity and gauge the level of interest in expanding youth drop-in centers to areas of need, the Commission is hosting an informational meeting.
The goal of integrated youth mental health centers is to increase access to vital services for youth at locations that are designed with youth and for youth and consider the needs of vulnerable and marginalized populations.
