The Commission partnered with Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula, the Youth Leadership Institute, and Art With Impact for the “Movies for Mental Health” event in Fresno. Attendees were treated to three short films, presented by Art With Impact, centered on mental health and the importance of well-being. Each film was followed with a discussion, where audience members shared their thoughts and feelings about each film. The event concluded with a panel presentation, where participants shared their lived experiences stories and ideas of how to continue to drive transformational change to California’s behavioral health system.
