CONSULTING PSYCHOLOGIST

Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Program Operations, the Consulting Psychologist provides leadership to the Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) staff on culturally competent, recovery-oriented best practices related to the implementation of the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA). The Consulting Psychologist provides clinical expertise to the MHSOAC on significant trends and policy issues related to prevention of and recovery from mental illness, including those needing further research, and makes policy recommendations to the MHSOAC.
This recruitment has been posted for more vacancies than currently exist as it may be used to fill identical vacancies which occur with 180 days of the closing date of this bulletin.

JC-427574 – Fellow-Peer
SPECIAL CONSULTANT

Under the general direction of the Chief of Community Engagement and Grants, the Mental Health Fellow (Peer) renders expert assistance as a consultant on Mental Health programs and performs other related work. The Fellow will use their voice and expertise as a mental health or substance use disorder peer to infuse best practices into the Commission’s policy-making, programs and planning activities. The Fellow will utilize their crucial perspective to ensure the work of the Commission is relevant, timely and reflective of needs and emerging trends in the mental health field.
