The MHSOAC is leading an effort to develop a statewide suicide prevention plan that reduces suicide and suicide attempts, and improves outcomes for suicide attempt survivors and their families.
The MHSOAC Suicide Prevention Subcommittee is a subcommittee of commissioners that will hold community meetings throughout California over the next year to gather information and build a common understanding of the challenges and opportunities to preventing suicide.
This is the second MHSOAC Suicide Prevention Subcommittee Meeting.

We had our first meeting on Friday, March 16, 2018 in Redding, California, with over 50 community members in attendance.
